Accomplishments

Ms Minty has served as a pro tem judge, written articles and given seminars to insurance adjusters. Ms Minty has prevailed in AOE/COE matters, both at the Trial,  at the appellate levels, and in arbitration proceedings under labor Code 5500.5.

In 2022 Ms Minty  became a public arbitrator for FINRA, the Financial Industries Regulatory Authority, which, alongside the SEC, oversees United States member brokers and their personnel. As a FINRA arbitrator, Ms Minty, is involved in resolving securities-related disputes between members and the public, in conjunction with FINRA’s dispute resolution service. As part of this Panel, Ms Minty is required to demonstrate exceptional writing, and analyzing skills.

In the workers compensation arena, Ms Minty’s practice involves defending workers compensation claims, subrogation issues, litigating catastrophic injury and Death cases; employment and insurance coverage issues between concurrent and subsequent employers, and between carriers. Ms Minty has developed a particular specialty in litigating and prevailing in General and Special Employer cases involving PEOs, Professional Employer Organization, having prevailed in  arbitration disputes between General and Special Employers, and thereby eliminating exposure for her clients.

Ms Minty believes in the highest standard of work for her clients. This includes the period from inception, discovery, trial and through excellent writing and research at the appellate level. Ms Minty believes that a high standard of legal service  eventually results in prevailing at Trial, appeal or early resolution by way of favorable settlement.
